Our publishing policy in Birne Publishing House is that all research is for the benefit of humankind and research is the product of an investment by society and therefore its fruits should be returned to all people without borders or discrimination, serving society universally and in a transparent fashion. That is why Birne provides online free and open access to all of its research publications. So, all the publishing costs have been supported by the journals’ owners, therefore, authors may publish their manuscripts and audiences can download and share the articles in Birne Journals, freely.
Under Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing (June 20, 2003), Birne Journals are fully compliant with open access mandates, by publishing its articles under the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC-BY-NC 4.0). Authors retain copyright of their work and can deposit their publication in any repository. This means that articles can be freely redistributed and reused by the author and others as long as the article is properly cited. Published articles in Birne Journals can be deposited immediately into an online repository or social network without any cost. Birne Journals articles can be emailed to colleagues, printed, archived in a collection, included in course-packs, and distributed without restrictions.
